Unlike traditional vacuum cleaners, Dyson machines do not have a bag inside. When the bag fills with dust in a normal cleaner, suction begins to get weaker, so more dust is left on the carpet. Because Dyson vacuum cleaners don't have a bag, they don't lose suction. Instead, the patented Root Cyclone technology spins air at a very high speed. The dirt from the floor is then thrown straight into the clear bin drum using centrifugal force. The air that leaves the vacuum is cleaner than the air that went in - with even tiny particles such as pollen left in the machine.
