At Horsleys of Gainsborough, over 80% of our customers have their orders delivered locally using our free delivery service. Free local delivery is available around the Gainsborough and Lincolnshire area, and depends on the products ordered and how far you are away from us (more details below).

For local customers, we will not only make the delivery within an hour time window, but will take each item to your room of choice and leave it in the position you want it. Worrying about what to do with your old furniture, carpets, bed or appliance? Well don’t as we can take it away for you when we deliver your new items. Additional charges apply for this service (see below).

Delivery under 20 miles:Free
Disposal of furniture: £20 per item (up to a maximum of £50 for over 2 items)
Disposal of chairs and sofas: £20 per seat (up to a maximum of £50 for over 2 items)
Uplift of existing flooring: £10 per room (up to a maximum of £50 for a full house)
Disposal of carpet: £20 per room (up to a maximum of £50 for a full house)
Excessive moving of furniture:£10 per room



Handy Delivery Tips

  • Check measurements of furniture and access to your home

It is important to check the measurements of your chosen furniture on our website and ensure there is adequate doorway and stair access. We will move and arrange your new furniture for you and our delivery team will help wherever possible.

  • Ensure your property is accessible

Go to the point in your home or apartment building where the delivery will begin and walk the path that the delivery team will take to carry your new furniture into your room of choice. Your order will usually be delivered via one of our delivery vans, so please be sure your property is accessible and call us prior to delivery if not. Problems can occur with long gravel driveways with tight access so please inform us prior to delivery if this is applicable.

  • We're here to help

Please try to make the delivery as easy as possible for our delivery team. It is helpful if you can be at your residence to accept the delivery, because no one knows your home better than you do. If you are unavailable to accept the delivery yourself, please note that there must be someone over the age of 16 at your property to take the delivery for you.
