New year, new job? Here at Horsleys we currently have three job vacancies available, both part time and full time, for fulfilment at our independent retail stores based in Gainsborough. Further details of these positions (flooring fitter, warehouse operative and sales assistant) can be found below. Flooring Fitter: A vacancy has arisen for a full time fitter (or a team of fitters) to complement the experienced team here in our busy flooring department. The successful applicant will be competent with carpets and vinyl, and also sub-floor preparation. Ideally, but not essential, the successful applicant will also be able to fit luxury vinyl tile and safety flooring. The candidate also needs to deliver a high level of customer service and be well presented. Our rates are very competitive and payment is made promptly.

Warehouse Operative: We have a full time vacancy in our warehouse, working from Monday to Friday. Duties in this role include (but are not limited to) unloading and loading of heavy items, from goods vehicles into our warehouses, loading on to delivery vans for distribution, and when required, customer facing helping our delivery team to deliver items, as well as stock keeping and waste control. This job is physically demanding and would suit a fit and strong individual that is self-motivated with willingness to work, as well as being well mannered and presented. Wage is the national living wage.

Sales Assistant: We have a part time (flexible) position available within our in-store sales team. The successful applicant will be required to work across all departments in our showrooms, helping customers with the pre-sales process, enquiries and providing general assistance, wherever necessary. This position will be a minimum of 8 hours per week (Mondays 10am to 3pm and Fridays 10am to 3pm) but we would need the applicant to be flexible to cover other staff holidays, including Saturdays (mainly in the school holidays). Wage for this role is the national living wage.
